This series combines functional precision with sculptural form, resulting in planters that serve both aesthetic and practical purposes. Each piece includes a hollow body that allows for optimal drainage, with concealed or integrated openings designed to facilitate water evaporation—ensuring that the health of the plant is prioritized without compromising the planter’s visual appeal. In this way, form and function are inseparably linked, each enhancing the other to create a planter that supports plant life while contributing a unique, artistic presence to any space.

This piece reimagines the concept of a potted plant, with an alien-like ceramic form emerging from a simple terracotta pot. Here, the planter serves more as a stage than a vessel, highlighting the sculpture’s organic, otherworldly character. Entirely wheel-thrown, the piece was created by merging two flattened cylinders back-to-back, embodying both plant-like growth and sculptural abstraction.
